What to Expect
The Innovation Lead will be responsible for identifying, developing, and leading strategic initiatives that drive innovation across the organization. This role requires a visionary thinker who can collaborate across departments, bring fresh ideas to market, and ensure that innovation aligns with the company’s overall goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the creation of a company-wide innovation strategy that aligns with business goals and fosters a culture of innovation.
- Research industry trends, emerging technologies, and market shifts to identify opportunities for product, service, and process innovations.
- Collaborate with product development, marketing, IT, and other key stakeholders to drive innovation projects from concept to execution.
- Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of innovation initiatives, including idea generation, prototyping, testing, and scaling successful projects.
- Encourage creativity, experimentation, and continuous improvement across all levels of the organization, fostering an open environment where new ideas are valued.
- Develop metrics to assess the success of innovation initiatives and continuously optimize processes to achieve maximum impact.
- Maintain an in-depth knowledge of emerging technologies, consumer behaviours, and competitive advancements to keep the company ahead of the curve.
- Build and nurture partnerships with external innovators, startups, research institutions, and other entities to leverage outside expertise and accelerate innovation.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Innovation Management, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in innovation management, product development, or related roles within a fast-paced, forward-thinking organization.

- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage diverse stakeholders.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to advocate for innovation initiatives and present ideas clearly.
- Knowledge of emerging technologies and industry trends.
- Experience in managing digital transformation initiatives or product innovation in a global context.
- Ability to use design thinking, agile methodologies, and other frameworks to foster creativity and innovation.
