What to Expect

The Human Resources Specialist is responsible for supporting the HR department in various tasks related to recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and compliance. In a global consulting environment, this role also focuses on coordinating international HR initiatives and ensuring adherence to local employment laws.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage full-cycle recruitment processes, including job postings, candidate screening, interviews, and offer management.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to determine talent needs and develop strategies to attract top talent globally.
  • Oversee onboarding and ensure a smooth integration of new employees.
  • Serve as the point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns, providing guidance on company policies, procedures, and workplace issues.
  • Foster a positive workplace culture and support initiatives to improve employee engagement and retention.
  • Assist in managing performance review cycles, tracking employee progress, and advising on performance improvement plans.
  • Support the development and execution of employee training programs.
  • Ensure compliance with local, regional, and international labor laws and company policies.
  • Maintain and update HR policies, handbooks, and employment contracts.
  • Coordinate with legal teams to address labor law compliance in different countries.
  • Assist in the development and management of compensation packages, including salary reviews and employee benefits programs.
  • Work closely with global HR teams to align compensation practices with local market standards.
  • Maintain employee records and ensure HR data integrity.
  • Generate HR reports and analytics on recruitment, turnover, performance, and other key metrics.
  • Support expatriate employees and manage the logistics of international assignments, visas, and work permits.
  • Address the unique needs of a global workforce, including cultural sensitivity and diversity initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 2-5 years of HR experience, preferably in a global or multi-national environment.
  • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations across different countries.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage cross-cultural relationships.
  • Proficiency in HR software (e.g., HRIS, ATS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • HR certifications(e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP).
  • Experience with global mobility programsand managing international assignments.
  • Fluency in multiple languages is a plus.
